To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a local FIFA subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

FIFA VIP Coordinators (FIFA Club) – Australia

Job responsibilities
As a FIFA VIP Coordinator (FIFA Club) reporting to the Guest Experience Manager - Australia, this role is responsible for helping in the delivery of operations of the FIFA Club, and delivering operations during tournament time, in close coordination with key internal and external stakeholders and service providers, as well as FIFA.

Job duties
Your role as FIFA VIP Coordinator (FIFA Club) includes the following responsibilities:

  • Support the FIFA Club Manager / Duty Manager with operations planning and delivering of the FIFA Club.
  • Work in the FIFA Club to ensure service standards are delivered.
  • Support tournament time FIFA/FWWC2023 Guest Operations at the VIP Hotel and liaise with the various stakeholders.
  • Deliver operational plans & policies and procedures while ensuring compliance of FWWC2023 Policy
  • Ensure a VVIP experience is delivered in the FIFA Club
  • Ensure Service Levels are observed and carried out, as agreed between all stakeholders
  • Support guest operations at the various hotel locations (welcome desk, F&B outlets, transport load zone) and delegate tasks as per the scope
  • Work closely with all team members to align on all logistical requirements
  • Act as shift-manager for the guest operations team at FIFA Club for the FIFA Women’s Football World Cup 2023.
  • Work closely with the Park Hyatt to ensure service is delivered on time and to standard
  • Ensure the entertainment program Is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications & experience and skills

  • Experience in Hospitality and Guest Management Experience
  • Experience in work experience in client facing jobs
  • Familiarity with V/VIP environment, high-end hospitality, and Guest Management
  • Experience in the hotel industry
  • English fluency – spoken and written (required)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
  • Planning software and online collaboration tools (an asset)
  • Previous experience and ability to understand CADs and site plans
  • Good understanding of organisational processes and policies
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns expeditiously and independently
  • Ability to shape and deliver operational excellence in teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • A collaborator who is able to foster good working relationships;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills;
  • Good networking skills
  • Time management and the ability to prioritize a varied workload;
