ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with the services of our many outlets, throughout breakfast, lunch, conferencing, or dinner as well as the rooftop bar Bar Albert.
· Acknowledge our regular and loyalty members, being familiar with their benefits.
· preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages
· cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines
· collecting payment for sales and operating cash registers
· promoting services and products
· washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses
· tapping kegs and attaching supply lines
· replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
· selling light snacks
· selecting and grinding coffee
· Balancing of Pokey machines
· Relieving sales assistants as and when required.
What You'll bring
Ideally, you will have previous Food and Beverage/Bar Attendant experience
You've got a good eye for detail – our processes are super important in helping us deliver a consistent guest experience.
Being passionate about food and how it is presented you'll also prepare and operate the restaurant/bar for our daily breakfast offering, Conference and Events and/or evening drinks and dinner service.
Professional and personable, with a "role up the sleeves", can do attitude
You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
You must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in New Zealand.
